About Xi An Gourmet

Dive into an authentic Chinese culinary experience. Order now for swift delivery or convenient takeout and savor the taste of tradition and innovation every bite.

Located at 15 Willow Ridge Dr #3534, Buffalo, NY 14228, Xi An Gourmet operates as a chinese restaurant serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Buffalo; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AM–9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (716) 691-8880. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, xiangourmetnewyork.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 258 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Buffalo peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was in Buffalo for a business trip and found this place on Google maps. I am very impressed with the food. I ordered the sliced beef noodle soup to go and it was very delicious. The sandwiches were also tasty. The meal was reasonably priced.

I love authentic Chinese food and seek it out when traveling. So, when in the area recently I did some research and this place came up as being probably the most authentic in the Buffalo and Niagara areas, so I went for lunch. Sure enough, their menu is legit, filled with many of the recognizable delicacies you won’t find at the ordinary Chinese-American joints. Entering the place is odd, they have a weather barrier (those plastic slats) hanging from the door after you open the glass door – very odd placement of them. Inside is rather small and simple, not decorated much, it’s truly a carry-out place that provides table service too. Service was decent, far from fancy. I decided to try their cumin beef and an order of scallion pancakes. The cumin beef came out first and though I asked for it to be spicy, it most definitely was very mild. The flavor was a little bland overall and this is typically a dry-wok’d type of stir fry with more oil and less sauce, but mine was slightly saucy and lacking flavor completely. The scallion pancakes looked and tasted decent. Perhaps if I ordered something different I would have enjoyed the food more. I still recommend stopping in if you’

Best chinese food in buffalo. We have a tradition in our family to come eat here every friday. And every time the food does not disappoint. Their spicy beef noodle soup in the picture is my go to. It is not very spicy (medium spicy) and their portions are generous too. Wonderful dish for a cold buffalo night.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. Went twice while visiting Niagara. Everything we ordered tasted great. I loved their noodles. Thick and chewy and lots of flavors. Small dining room inside if you want to eat in. Noticed many food delivery drivers picking up orders. Come here if you want the best Chinese food in Buffalo.

Wheelchair Accessible! Delicious food! Well lit, clean, pleasant. The hallway leading to the restroom is crowded but it's worth the effort to have them move things if needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Other patrons spoke Chinese and there were constant carryout others being picked up, so food will probably always be fresh. Prices are very fair. Portions are sized to share and there was some left to take home. The food was fantastic. It came out hot and beautiful and it stayed hot throughout the meal. I can't wait to go here again!
